In the main house, there are two double bedrooms, each with a bathroom, and a single bedroom/study. In the self-contained guest cottage, there is a double bedroom, a bathroom, and a dressing room/child's room, plus a sitting room (with convertible sofa/double bed) and a small kitchen. There is a further guest wing with a double bedroom, a bathroom, and a room with four adult-sized bunks.
The light-filled drawing room, dining room, kitchen, and study open directly into the garden.
The house is only offered occasionally for letting, as it is used frequently by the family. It is very well suited as a base for a golfing holiday but is also a lovely place in itself, set in peaceful farmland and enfolded by the garden that surrounds it. The beaches at Elie and the fishing villages of the East Neuk are nearby. There are many good restaurants in St Andrews and within a few minutes drive.
Edinburgh is 75 minutes away, as is Edinburgh Airport, with direct flights to New York and much of Europe, and frequent flights to London. For general aviation there is Glenrothes, 30 minutes away, and there are direct trains to London from Leuchars, 20 minutes.
